I'm attempting to use the xamDataGrid from the NetAdvantage WPF Express package with Visual Studio 2008. Is there a way to do wysiwyg editing like you can for the built in ui controls?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean. What type of data are you editing, what are you seeing and what are you expecting?
What I'm looking for a way to drag and drop the xamDataGrid onto the form in design view. I don't see the grid in the toolbox.
Make sure you have installed the v7.2 version of the controls, this was released a couple of weeks ago and it supports VS2008.
Right click on the toolbox and click 'Choose items...'. In the 'WPF components' tab the XamDataGrid should be listed. If you check it it will get added to the toolbox.
