Is there any plans on adding the windows 7 scenic ribbon theme into the WPF ribbon control? The scenic theme is already in the Infragistics Silverlight and WinForms versions of the control. Additionally, I would like to have the same style start menu as Office 2010 has.
Has there been any word on this? We also need the WPF version to support the new style.
It seems weird to have 2 out of 3 ribbon controls that support the new look.
I was told by support that it is on the backlog but no word if it will make it into development by the next release in June. Major disappointment for us but I rather not introduce other third party controls into our solution, so we will be chomping at the bit while we wait for news.
No, I have not heard anything. I can see them not doing the overlay for the file menu (office 2010 style) yet, but not having the scenic ribbon style for WPF is a problem. There are many other third parties that already have this feature. I wouldn't even mind if the support is just a beta cut for now.
