Currently, when panning around in the data chart, the chart isn't updated until the mouse button is released.
Is it possible to change the behavior so that the chart is actively updated while panning?

We was able to produce the desired effect. I understand why the capability was not provided built in to the data-charts. We are aiming for a good user experience so we are using this DataChart over the regular infragistics chart for performance. We don't display millions of points, more like thousands, but it is pretty smooth for panning now.
Edit: And I am unable to locate the Verify Answered. I have used it before but cannot seem to find it anymore.
WindowResponse was added in a Service Release to the 10.3 version of the product. If you install the latest service release you should see the property on the chart.

Sorry to give you such a similar response twice this morning, but in the latest service release of the product the chart has a property called WindowResponse, which you can set to immediate to enable this mode.
I would also like to request "live" zooming and scrolling (panning) for XamDataCharts. I understand the consequences for performance so this could be something that would be turned off by default.
