How on earth do you set the ApplicationMenu's text to "File" using the Scenic theme?
Hello,
ApplicationMenu's that have text in them using the Scenis Ribbon are BackStage. Currently, the XamRibbon's Scenic does not support the BackStrage functionality. The Office 2010 uses this type of Application Menu. Applications like Ms Paint or Ms WordPad have the standard type menu, which only allows an image. You may want to submit this as a feature request here.
Moreover, you can modify the XamRibbon's Scenic template, which we ship in the DefaultStyles directory and provide a custom template for that.
Please can you provide an example template that replaces the image with the standard Office 2010 "File" text. Saying that we can modify the template without providing an example really does not help a lot given the complexity of the tempates.
Note: can you provide the example using the templates from the 2010.3 release.
Thank you
Yes, I noticed this right when the service pack was installed. Meets my current application needs, until they change of course.
Hello ,
We have shipped out a new service release where your issue is resolved. I'd be glad to find out if you had tested it out and if it had met your requirements.
Thank you for using Infragistics Components.

I have created a support ticket for each one of you ( Murray - CAS-55037-M6BJ3Q; Brian - CAS-50058-MQ2HRY) and have linked the development work item, that Andrew created (ID: 57563), to the tickets so that you are notified when it is resolved and available for download from our website: https://ko.infragistics.com/Membership/Default.aspx?panel=Downloads#Downloads
Please let me know if I can assist you further or verify the thread as answered so it helps other forum users as well.
While it is feasible to do this by retemplating - you would take the ApplicationMenuPresenter's template from the default styles that Alex mentioned - this is actually relatively complicated since you would also need to copy additional templates that it uses for the scrollviewer, the scrollviewer buttons, etc. I'm going to enter an issue for this so you can either set the caption property or provide a non-square image (i.e. remove the maxwidth constraint) so you can acheive the look used in paint/wordpad/etc. as well.
