xamRibbon ApplicationMenu RecentItems databind in xaml

Hi,

how can you bind recentitems property in xaml. does anybody have any sample code?

Is there any way to do this with databinding and not procedural code?

I really need to get the recent file list databinding and so far there are NO EXAMPLES of this.

The RecentFiles does not have an ItemSource property and it is not a attached property so the RecentFiles itself can not be set to an ObservableCollection

This is very frustrating..
