It appears that xamDateTimeEditor doesn't have a dropdown calendar for choosing dates - is that correct ? I must admit to being somewhat surprised that it's literally just a dateTime editor, and lacks any DateTimePicker functionality.

Yes, unfortunately as of now the XamDateTimeEditor doesn't have the drop-down calendar support. You can submit a feature request via http://ko.infragistics.com/gethelp. More people request it, more priority it's given.

I can say that we definately want that as well.
I'm already attempting to do some code kung-fu with another control that has the visual aspect to it. I'd much rather it all be available in my infragistics xamDateTimeEditor.
I vote for this too.
