When trying to install NetAdvantage Ultimate 2011.1, I'm getting errors. The log indicates a proxy authentication issue. My IT staff has provided me with the proxy information that I would need, but I don't know how to give it to the installer.
I get this error even if I uncheck the 'download service pack' checkbox.

What do I do to resolve this issue and intall 2011.1?
Hi cmcfarlane,
I would recommend you to download the whole Ultimate .zip package that contains all the .msi installers and run the platform installer executable again. The errors in the log are because you are trying to install a product that you don't have locally (under the Setups sub directory). If you deselect WPF DV, WPF DV Help and WPF DV Samples it should be able to pick and install the rest.
You can download the complete bundle from here:
http://ko.infragistics.com/dotnet/netadvantage/ultimate.aspx#Downloads
We currently don't support proxy configuration.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,

Hello cmcfarlane,
I am just checking have you been able to resolve your issue? If you still need any assistance on the matter do not hesitate to ask.
Hi,
I am facing the same issue of proxy authentication and even after downloading the complete installer its not resolved
Please advise on how do i fix this
Regards
Rajesh
Try using the platform installer CLI especially the /NoDownload switch. You can also install what you need directly using the .msi files inside the Setups folder of the zip bundle.
Thanks,
Alex
Hi Alex
We had version 2011.1 installed at first (installed with no probs). The references pointed to 2011.1 in our project. Then we upgraded to 2011.2 and my problems started -> I am not able to install 2011.2. when I install the necessary components by MSI directly it just wont find the 2011.2 references (now upgraded in the project) and I actually can't find them on the system after install at all. Altough msi reports success entries in Add/Remove Programs look exact the same as on my colleages machne.
So my colleague told me to install the SR first and then see -> and I cannot either :( the SR executable wont let me -> saying no matching products installed.
Now of course you could think I might got the wrong executable \ setups etc but my colleage just applied the same Source and SR on a familiar machine (both win7 x64). The only difference of his machine and mine is that he was able to run the setup while I had to install the msi seperatly. We went through all components :(
So I really stuck here :( I just restaged my box to get it another try (in case its messed up) but still no luck. Same error. I'm gonna try the above suggestion with the plattform installer 2morrow.
Thanks anyway Alex! and have a nice day over there
Hi Will,
I am glad that this issue has been resolved for you. The platform installer of NetAdvantage that you were initially using is made available to allow users to explicitly select the product(s) that they are interested in downloading in an à la carte fashion, as not all of the products are necessarily desired for a given developer.
The installer then makes individual requests back to the download server for each item, automated for the user; normally this isn’t an issue and the installer is able to complete this process uninterrupted.
The issue that you experienced occurs occasionally for users downloading to a network that implements a firewall with strict security measures that mistake the installer wrapper’s requests across the network as a security threat, these requests are rejected and the product download(s) fails for the installer.
In this case, downloading the desired complete product(s) which includes both the installer and all of the necessary files directly by using the complete download option is recommended.
If you have any further questions that I may assist you with, please let me know.
Sincerely,Chris KDeveloper Support EngineerInfragistics, Inc.www.infragistics.com/support
Just an FYI, this also applies to the 2013 "Platform Installer".
Just download the entire "Complete" bundle, then you can pick and choose which things you want to install.
