I need to stop highlighting and selection of different regions. How to do that i.e. If a region is already seleted that user should not be able to select another region.

Just to clear on region, suppose in grid there are 10 records (numbered 1-10). User selected 1-3 records & then 6-9. In this scenario, there are 2 region ie. 2 blocks of selected records. I don't want user to do that. Now I believe it answers your question on region.
