I'm importing a shape file in xammap and the geometry of the map is showing ok.
I set the caption in the datamapping property, to a property in dbf file. Texts in dbs are in ISO-8859-1, not in UTF-8, and are not displaying correctly, special chars like accents are not showing correctly (appear like a ? inside a diamond).
How can I set the charset of the dbf file?

After running your sample I reproduced the issue and I don't see what would cause the issue to occur. As such I have asked our engineering staff to examine this further. To ensure that it will receive attention, I have logged this behavior in our internal tracking system with a Development ID of 140472. The next step will be for a developer to review my investigation and confirm my findings or to offer a fix, or other resolution.

Ok i sended you by email, files are compressed with winrar.
Try zipping up the files if you haven't already. They might be too large on their own.
If that doesn't work you can try emailing it to support@infragistics.com. When you send the email make sure to set the subject as "Attention Robert - SHP/DBF files." Let me know if you decide to email it.
