Hi Guys,
I want to check if there is a good way to print xamPivotGrid? I've checked a few other threads from last year, and seems it's a function haven't been impelemented yet. Do we have any good way to print xamlPivotGrid now?
Thanks,
Xin
Hello Xin,
Thank you for your post!
Currently there is no build-in functionality for printing the XamPivotGrid. I have logged product idea in our internal tracking system as new features are often implemented based on customers feedback. The idea is logged with ID PI13060139.
If you would like to follow up on your product idea at a later point, you may contact Developer Support management via email. Hi,
Thanks for your reply. At the meanwhile, do we have a good alternative way to print out the xamlPivotData?
Hi Xin,
You could use the WPF Reporting as an alternative. It will allow you to print the XamPivotGrid table and you could also see the preview of the control that will be printed. Here you could find more information on the matter: http://help.infragistics.com/Help/NetAdvantage/WPF/2012.2/CLR4.0/html/WPF_Reporting_Getting_Started_with_WPF_Reporting.html
Hi Maria,
We were using the WPF Reporting as an alternative. However, it just prints on current view wiht no scroll down for the whole XamPivotGrid. Is there any better alternative that allow us to print the whole XamPivotGrid?
I have been researching this further for you. It seems that currently the best option I could suggest you is using the WPF Reporting because a printing feature has not been included in XamPivotGrid yet. This is the reason I logged this feature as new product idea so that our product team could look into it. It might be chosen for implementation and it could be included in one of our feature releases. Thank you for suggesting it.
