Hi there
Any news on when WPF 2008 Vol 1 will be unleashed upon us?
Many thanks
Paul
So what is the status on this? Any reason the WPF forums are not answered more quickly like the standard controls' forums?
I really love the controls but not seeing the updates comes as often as the other control sets is disappointing.
As advertiesed in the german "dot.net magazin", the new xamDockManager is available.
But there is no information available on the Infragistics homepage. It seems that the left hand is not knowing what the right is doing.
Infragistics information politics is a really big disaster.

Keep an eye out on our website for the next version of NetAdvantage. I hear it will be great.
xamDockManager, huh? Interesting.
Yes, we’re introducing the xamDockManager in 8.1 as the ad says as well as making a significant Grid enhancement. The product is scheduled to ship by July 7th.
We understand your desire to get a product roadmap however, we are uncomfortable in pre announcing features until they are ready to be delivered as we do not believe in promoting vaporware and are averse to making promises to our customers until we know we can deliver on those promises. We announce the availability of specific features when we are confident that we can provide them to you, which is after our QA cycle or during extended CTP programs.
Thank you,
Hi Paul,
Actually, several of us at Infragistics who specialize in WPF and who answer these forums are working extra to push out the next version of NetAdvantage for WPF, Silverlight controls, and new WPF training courses and materials. As a result, we are pretty busy and this has caused us to get behind with this forum. We are looking to hire people to help solve this issue as well. In the meantime, we are adding to our WPF efforts and are definitely dedicated to improving our services.
If you have any posts which are waiting on an answer, please do not hesitate to ping me. I will make sure they are answered. You can email me by clicking on my name to the left of this post.
Thank you!

Wether this be serious or a little joke, the fact that it's taken 3 posters and over a week to get a reply, we're not exactly 'confident' at the moment with the WPF offerings (not to mention the policy of eval customers having to work with bugged versions). I was wondering why this would be as it doen't seem to be limited to Infragistics - at least one other 3rd party product we use are equally tight lipped on thier WPF forums. It's almost as if companies have put on a big push to ensure they have a WPF product, but are either not yet comfortable enough in the technology or are not confident that the technology will last long enough to make a full commital to it.
I'm not expecting a driect reply to this, but Infragistics should be aware of thier cusomers concerns...
