Hi,
I'm experienced with a problem. There was something like a freeze, the Indigo Studio didn't response and after some minutes (over 10) I had to kill the process. Now it is not working. The splash screen starts but nothing else happens. I've tried to repair, reinstall, uninstall, restart some times but it didn't help. I don't know what happened it has stopped to work. I've searched for any related information in the event log but it does not have anything.
UPDATE: It is now working I deleted every temporary folder but I think maybe there is not any relation between this and the startup failure. Is that possible it needs to connect to somewhere and that service was down?
Please give me some feedback about this strange issue. Is there anybody else who has faced with this kind of issue? :)
Regads, Zsolt Molnar
Hi Zsolt,
Thanks for letting us know. One thing that we've seen happening that we could not reproduce consistently is that after a while of not using Indigo (not sure how much time), it takes some time to start working fluidly again. Like if everything was in 'hibernation mode' and needs some seconds to get back, it could be 10-20 seconds.
I'm not sure if that was what happened to you, but please if you see a similar behavior again, give it a few seconds and let us know how it went.
Regards,
Andres
I am having a similar problem to these. When I launch the indigo, the splash screen starts for a second and it appears a blank screen . No "New Storyboard"...etc. Just a blank screen.
I've tried to repair, reinstall, uninstall, restart some times but it didn't help.
Any suggestions?Thanks!

Hi, I had already done this and it did not solve the problem, but using the install found in the full tools installer zip file worked.
Thank you!
Hi!
I’m glad that you were able to run Indigo Studio.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Have just started trying to use Indigo Studio and can only use it straight after a clean install of the program after which if I try to start the package, all I get is the splash screen and the loading symbol.
What I mean by a clean install is remove the program and all files associated with it include file in 'My Docs'
Hi, David!
Thanks for contacting us.
I've just replied your email from our support account summing up these two threads:
I'm still having issues, randomly, with Indigo Studio not starting up. The program hangs at the start page (with the spinner and "Made for you by Infragistics"). I'm on Windows 7, IE11, no proxy set on LAN settings, latest Silverlight (5.1.41212.0) installed, latest update on Indigo Studio installed...
It's so touchy that I hesitate to shut the program down because I don't know when and what it will take to start back up for me. Sometimes I can get it to start on the first try, other times it takes 10 or more tries (and that always seems to be when I need it most because of a project being due!).
The only way I've figured out how to successfully get Indigo to start up, no issues, is to downgrade to IE10. Unfortunately this isn't something I can implement long-term: my company has it set to automatically update if security-risks due to old software are found. So I may start up my machine one day to find that IE11 is back and Indigo isn't working again.
Hi Terry,
Can you send me the log files to indigo [at] infragistics.com so I can follow up? They are under Documents\Indigo Studio\logs folder
Best regards,
Diego
I have the same setup as Christine and I cannot get Indigo Studios past the start up screen. I click on the link, but the file is no longer out there to download
Hi Christine!
Our development team is analyzing this issue. We tried to reproduce the issue running Indigo Studio in Windows 7 and Windows 8 with different versions of Internet explorer but we weren’t able to reproduce it yet.
If you aren't able to run Indigo Studio, please try the following:
After executing Indigo Studio.exe the following should be shown:
If the black console and “Silverlight application load” are not displayed, please send us to our support account (indigo @ infragistics.com) the log files which are stored under C:\Users\<your-user-name>\Documents\Indigo Studio VS\Logs.
