Hi!
I have Indigo Version 5 (Update 0.1) installed. After opening it for the first time, I see that there is another update available (Update 0.2). When I ask for that update, I never get Indigo Studio to start again. I've tried lots of things based on previous forum threads, but nothing seems to work. So I'm stuck :-(
This is what happens:
I have tried the following:

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for reporting this issue. We haven't seen this behavior before, and our team is looking into it to see if we can reproduce it locally.
In the meantime, you can install the latest version of Indigo Studio by downloading the installer from this URL:
http://users.infragistics.com/DeveloperSupport/Indigo/2015-05-20%20-%20Indigo%20Studio%20-%20v5%20Update%200.2.msi
Make sure to uninstall Indigo Studio first and remove the installation folder as you did before, just in case some files were left after the failed update process.
Please, let us know if this helps. We'll post here as soon as we have a diagnostic & fix for your original problem.
Thanks,
Best regards,
Santiago.
Indigo Studio Team.
I appear to be having the same issue, albeit without error logs. Steps I have taken:
My log file simply says:
2015-06-25 15:26:27.46 [f77d07] [Info ] NativeHost: Initializing native host
I'm not sure what to do to get the program to actually run. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi, Christine!
Thanks for reporting this issue.
Just to confirm, in step 2 you also deleted the folder under C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Infragistics\Indigo Studio. If there's a folder there, remove it and verify it has been completely removed. If for some reason you are unable to remove the folder, please check the Windows Task Manager to see if "Indigo Studio.exe" or "Indigo Studio Preview.exe" are still running. If they are, end those tasks and try removing the folder again.
If you deleted it, could you please run this prototype in Internet Explorer http://indigo.infragistics.com/prototype/4RF3V2PU and let us know if you can see it correctly?
If you are able to run this prototype, please try the following:- Open Control Panel window. To open it: Click Start and then click Control Panel.- In the Control Panel window, click Network and Internet option, and then click Internet Options. - In the opened window, click Connections tab, click "Lan settings" button and then uncheck the proxy server option.
Please let us know if this helps.
Best regards,Claudia Indigo Studio Team
Hi Claudia,
Yes - I removed the AppData folder and everything else associated with Indigo Studio. I was able to view the prototype in Internet Explorer no problem. I've tried running Indigo Studio as an Administrator, but it still hangs on startup.
Christine
Did you try to unckeck the proxy option?
Could you please verify that you have the latest Silverlight version installed? To view which Silverlight version you have, enter to this page from your browser http://indigo.infragistics.com/sl/ and then right click on the browser and click “Silverlight”.
It should say 5.1.*
You can install the latest version by following the instructions on this website: https://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/get-started/install/default.aspx
Thanks for your time.
Best regards,ClaudiaIndigo Studio Team
Really sorry to hear that.
Could you please send us the files located under the Documents\Indigo Studio\logs folder to indigo at infragistics.com?
Claudia -
The proxy option was not checked and we (the IT support person here at my work and I) checked Silverlight: I'm on the most up to date version. We tested whether it was the firewall, but taking my computer off the network did not fix the issue. Another coworker is able to run a trial version of Indigo with no issues. The IT support person also created a new profile on my machine and tried installing Indigo on there, thinking maybe my profile was corrupt, but the program still would not start.
He was able to install it on his machine and run the program the first time, but it would hang all subsequent times unless he did a "repair" on the program.
