Visual Studio Just In Debugger pop ups when try to SPY on SwfCombobox

Hi,

I am using QTP 11 and TestAdvantage 2010 vol3 (as application is built on NetAdvantage 2010 vol3).

When i try to spy or record the SwfCombobox the "Visual Studio Just In Debugger" pop ups and the system hangs or sometimes application crashes.

Please let me know any solution for the problem.

Hi,

Could you please provide us more details about your scenario:
- What patches are installed for QTP?
- What is the current build of TestAdvantage?
- What is the build of NetAdvantage?
- Is the issue with Record, Replay, or Both?
- What are the loaded assemblies in the AUT when the issue happens?

Could you please provide us more details about your machine.
- What is your OS. is it x32 or x64 bit machine ?
On Win7 x64 machines require QTPNET_00699 to work correctly with the .NET controls so installing the 00116 patch after installing 00699 will allow QTP to work correctly with the Infragistics 2011v2CLR4.0 controls
If the Windows XP machines are 32 bit, then they are probably better off not installing QTPNET_00699 as this is for 64bit support and WPF.
The latest available service release for TestAdvantage and NetAdavantage controls you could download it from our site: Infragistics.com -> MyIG -> My Keys and Downloads.

OS Version: Windows 2003 server 32 bit

Test Advantage : 2010 Vol3

NetAdvantage: 2010 Vol3

Issue is both Record and Replay

Application is built on .Net Framework 4.0 and Infragistics NetAdvantage 2010 vol3.

I have attached the Detailed System Report.

Please find the attachment.

since in my application the SWfCombobox is in Login Page, the movement i try to record the Visual Studio Just in debugger pops up and the System hangs.

Hi,

AM facing issue while selecting Item from SwfComboBox. As soon as i perform the select operation, A window Pops up and QTP Just waits to complete the select operation until i Click Cancel Manually. Is there any way that i can handle or End the Select operation immediately after selecting..

For Eg.

While Executing the below statement, The QTP performs the operation the selection but doesnt end the execution of the statement as there is a window which pops up immediately and i have no clue why the statement is still executing after selection. There is no other statement apart from this line of code.

SwfWindow("").SwfComboBox("").Select sTestData
