Data Model for the Recurrence Table
The Recurrence table describes the recurrence pattern applied to a WebSchedule Activity, which has been set-up to periodically recur. All columns correspond with .NET properties having the same name on a Recurrence object, unless otherwise noted.
The Recurrence table is new in the WebSchedule Data Model for Ultimate UI for ASP.NET 2006 Volume 2 and later.
Column Name |
Data Type |
Null Allowed? |
Remarks |
Primary Key . A numeric value uniquely identifying this Recurrence.
Date with Midnight time (and adjusted for UTC) on which Recurrence pattern expires.
May be 12/31/9999 to represent a Recurrence that is supposed to go on forever.
Specifies which day or days of the week an Activity falls on as a binary bit mask.
For more information, see the Flags enumeration "RecurrencePatternDaysOfWeek."
This is the timezone offset from UTC of the last person to create or modify this Recurrence. It is measured as a (signed) number of seconds.
The offset is used to clarify other explicit values when this recurrence is seen by users in other time zones.
When DayOfMonth > 0 it represents a date in the calendar month, and is stored in the DayOfMonth property of the Recurrence object.
When DayOfMonth < 0 it represents an ordinal occurrence within the month as follows:
-1 - RecurrenceDayOfMonth.First
-2 - RecurrenceDayOfMonth.Second
-3 - RecurrenceDayOfMonth.Third
-4 - RecurrenceDayOfMonth.Fourth
-5 - RecurrenceDayOfMonth.Last
When used in this way, the value is stored in the RecurrenceDayOfMonth property of the Recurrence.
RecurrenceDayOfMonth may be combined with a DayOfWeekMask value to represent a recurrence pattern such as "Third Wednesday of the Month."
Specifies the calendar month of the year as a number from 1 to 12.
This column only applies when Period is 'Y' (Yearly). When not applicable, it should have the value 0.
Specifies how many intervals of Period-length are between occurrences (i.e., every 4 days, every 3 weeks, or every 6 months).
Specifies the most appropriate Period for use as an interval between occurrences.
Specifies whether users edit an occurrence, the series, or are prompted to make a choice, when they attempt to edit an occurrence of a recurring Activity.
0 - Prompt user for their choice (default).
1 - User always edits the series.
2 - User always edits the occurrence.
Start date/time UTC of the last occurrence for which a Reminder was given.
Timestamp used to detect concurrency conflicts.
