WinPivotGrid User Input to Actions
Introduction
This topic provides information about the WinPivotGrid ™ control’s actions that are executed with user interaction.
Action chart
The following table summarizes the control’s actions and maps them to the user input that emulate them.
User input
Action
Left clicking in a cell when the CellClickAction
equals Activate.
Clicking in a primary column’s sort indicator whit sorting .
Performing any of the following actions:
Clicking on a primary header
Shift + Click
on a primary header to extend the sort
Ctrl + Click
on a primary header to add the header
Performing any of the following actions:
Clicking on a cell
Shift + Click
on a cell to extend the sort
Ctrl + Click
on a cell to add the header
Clicking on the collapsed expansion indicator.
Clicking on the expanded expansion indicator.
Double-clicking on a ColumnResizeElement , or dragging a ColumnResizeElement to a new size.
Clicking the “X” button to remove the DropItem from the DropItemArea
.
Clicking on the DropItemArea filter button while the filter is not open.
Clicking outside the filter UI area when the filter is open.
Pressing and holding the left-mouse button on a sub item and moving the cursor starting a drag action.
After starting a drag action, moving the cursor over a defined sub item for the control and releasing the left mouse button.
After starting a drag action, moving the cursor over the source control under test, in an area not covered by a defined sub item and releasing the left mouse button.
Clicking on a scroll arrow in a DropArea.
